Why this exists
Field Notes is the public layer of a 12-month deliberate practice plan to go from AI generalist to specialist. The work happens in private (Obsidian, the Tapasya vault). What lands here is the curated, polished subset — concept writeups, case study sections, learnings from reproducing papers, retros.
What it isn't
- A blog with takes. Takes are cheap.
- A newsletter promising weekly content. Promises get broken.
- A platform. Platforms accumulate; this just publishes.
